Garganega, Venice (house white wine)   €22.00   /   €7.00
Pale lemon in colour, with a fresh perfume of white flowers and citrus fruit.
It is fine and minerally on the palate, with lifted lemon zest on the finish.
This wine has enough body to stand up to food while retaining a crisp,
fresh quality that ensures it is also great on its own.
Sauvignon Blanc, Venice    €26.00   /   €7.50
Pale yellow in colour, this Sauvignon is intensely fragrant with ripe
varietal characteristics of mango and pineapple. It has good acidity
and a fresh long finish.
Pinot Grigio, Corte Giara, Venice    €27.00   /   €8.00
Bright straw yellow in the glass with light and delicate aromas
showing lovely Pinot Grigio character. Elegant floral notes are
complemented by richer hints of Golden Delicious apples. This wine
with its dry, racy palate and good depth and definition is a sure-fire winner.
Fiano, Napoli    €29.50   /   €8.50
Low temperature fermentation has retained the fresh, crisp and
aromatic quality of the wine whilst still allowing its character to
shine through. Perfumes of white flowers and white melon with
mineral notes provide a backdrop to the full, ripe palate and lift the finish.
An elegant wine, with a touch of honey on the finish.
Burgans, Albariño, Spain    €30.00   /   €9.00
A lime yellow colour with golden highlights. Full of ripe apples, apricots,
and peach aromas typical of the varietal. On the palate, the wine is rich, mellow
and well-balanced with juicy fruit and clean acidity. Rounded, with a long,
off dry, minerally finish.
Friulano, Italo Cescon    €35.00
Fruity with notes of blossom and almond. Very appealing with a
pleasantly bitterish note in the background marrying nicely with
nuances of honey and peach.
Greywacke, Sauvignon Blanc, New Zeeland    €38.50   /   €10.00
A delicious fusion of ripe summer fruits and delicate floral perfume,
citrus blossom and elderflower entwined with nectarines and white peaches,
mandarin and cantaloupe with a twist of lemon. Intensely flavoured,
succulent and crisp with a delicate herbal infusion.
Monastrell Rosado DO Yecla   € 27.50   /   €8.00
This Monastrell Rosado offers fresh, red fruits on the nose. On the palate
it is soft and fruity, with prominent cherry and strawberry flavours, vibrant
acidity and a long, lifted finish.

This is a light, soft Frizzante. Pale straw yellow in colour with
delicate notes of Williams pear and stone fruits, it is clean and
balanced on the palate with a fresh finish.

Deep ruby red, deeply fruity fruit with bouquet of little blackberries.
 Dry, well structured for an important body. Rightly tannic,
with an inkling of blueberries.
Merlot, Venice    €26.00   /   €7.50
Intense ruby red colour.  Attractive aromas of ripe red berry fruit
follow through on to the palate. This wine is velvety, round and full-bodied.
The Merlot is riper and juicier than other Merlots from Venice, great value.
Montepulciano D Abruzzo    €27.00   /   €8.00
Ruby red in colour with garnet hints.  On the nose this is intense,
with vibrant dark bramble fruits, complemented by floral and spice characters.
These follow through on to the palate which is concentrated, full-bodied
and well-balanced  with firm tannins.
 Shiraz, Excelsior, South Africa    €28.00   /   €8.50
The nose shows prominent aromas of dark cherry and sweet violet, with
additional notes of pepper. The palate is soft and juicy, with freshness
and a long finish.
Valpolicella Ripasso, Venice    €32.50   /   €9.00
Ruby red in colour, with a concentrated perfume of red and black cherries,
with the ripasso adding a dried cherry intensity. Full-bodied on the palate,
with a lovely balance between opulent cherry-pie character and supple structure.
Good length with a mouthwatering bitter-cherry twist on the finish.
 Malbec, Argentina    €35.00   /   €10.00
The luscious, intense fruit aromas have hints of ripe plums, cherries and
blackberries. These aromas continue on the palate with a generous mouthfeel
and great weight, while remaining soft and silky.
Rioja, Spain    €35.00   /   €10.00
Shiny ruby red in colour. Rich aromatic intensity and a nice balanc e of red fruit,
liquorice and spices, with hints of smoke in the background. Elegant and round
on the palate with a long aftertaste full of floral and ripe fruit notes.
Barbera d’Asti Superiore    €36.00
Deep, intense purple-red in colour, with a complex, vinous aroma, with
floral tones of strawberry, cherry and spices. This is a full-bodied wine,
with crisp fresh acidity, enjoyabl e both young and more mature.
Amarone Classico della Valpolicella, Venice    €70.00
Intense and inviting ruby red in colour.  The characteristic hints of cherry
and pepper are particularly enjoyable in this wine, and are then followed by
subtle herb nuances. Dry and well-balanced. The traditional acidic note
combines well with the softness of the fruit to form a satisfying contrast
and produce a supple, feisty wine.
